Our X-foil bikini was the first suit that opened my first Charlie Collection. It's very special to me. It's playful sensuality was a subtle tribute to both BIBA and Lady Gaga. (Barbara Hulanicki's BIBA is one of the defining inspirations for me as a designer that is at the heart of many of my collections, and at the time of our launch in 2010, Lady Gaga had just started to get big and her passion and talent was very exciting to witness.)
